We presented a poster at INTER-NOISE 2024 in Nantes, France, titled “Analysis of the Underwater Acoustic Environment in the Catalan Shore: Badalona and Port of Barcelona Cases in the Framework of the DeuteroNoise JPI-Oceans Project.” This study focused on assessing underwater noise levels in key areas along the Catalan coast, specifically Badalona and the Port of Barcelona. The research is part of the broader DeuteroNoise project, aiming to understand the impact of anthropogenic noise on marine ecosystems in these busy coastal zones.
This analysis is crucial for identifying noise sources and understanding their effects on marine life in these regions, contributing valuable data to the ongoing efforts to mitigate underwater noise pollution.
