Underwater Acoustics at Catalan AI Conference: Insights from DeuteroNoise

At the 26th International Conference of the Catalan Artificial Intelligence Association, Ignasi Nou-Plana from La Salle-URL shared key insights on the creation of a unique dataset for underwater acoustics. His presentation focused on acoustic samples collected from the Barcelona shore and Romania’s GeoEcoMar.

The dataset development is part of the DeuteroNoise project, which examines underwater noise pollution in European waters. This data will help advance research in understanding the effects of anthropogenic noise on marine environments.
